SAFETY
The Police and the security staff will try their best to prevent and avoid crime at the festival side. Unfortunately we can’t ensure complete safety. Please take care of your possessions!

  • lock a your vehicles, do not leave valuables inside
  • only bring what you can afford to lose
  • try to find friends to camp near you - you can look out for each others’ possessions when they would otherwise be unprotected. Thieves are less likely to strike when someone is there.
  • mark your property and your tent with your name and your address. Marking will significantly reduce the risk of things being stolen.
  • when you leave your tent take any valuables with you. Leave your tent untidy so there is not an obvious bag to be quickly grabbed
  • be inventive about where you hide your valuables when sleeping
  • don't keep all your cash and valuables together in one place
  • only bring the credit cards you need
  • some prescription medicines are sought by thieves. If you need to have medicines with you on site, please keep them with you
  • report to stewards or police if you notice people lingering between the tents suspiciously

If you miss something contact the Lost & Found at first. Maybe the missing item has already been found and brought there. Contact the police if you become the victim of a crime. Please report any crime to the police.

DRUGS
Stay away from illegal substances. The whole Festival experience is quite surreal and gives your senses enough of a challenge just taking it all in. You might get very insecure, paranoid or distressed in large crowds. Consuming, selling and buying drugs at a festival is illegal. The Police and the stewards will keep their eyes open. If they notice you consuming or even dealing with drugs you will get into serious trouble.

CROWD SURFING
Crowd Surfing is prohibited!!! In previous years, many uninvolved festival visitors were badly injured by crowd surfers. If you intend to crowd surf you will be punished: 1 st timers will be reproved 2 nd timers will get a yellow card. A yellow card means that you will have to leave the festival site (NOT the campsite) for 24 hours. Your festival wristband will be confiscated. After 24 hours you can exchange the yellow card for a new wristband. You also risk getting a yellow card for misbehaviour like climbing on any constructions.

LIABILITY
Every visitor is liable for any damage he causes. The German Law For The Protection Of The Youth is effective. Take care of your festival wristband and the pawn chip for the garbage bag. We will not replace anything.

HEALTH
Here are some simple tips which will help you stay safe and healthy throughout the festival weekend.

  • The Festival takes place on uneven grounds. Take care, especially at night – you can’t dance with a twisted ankle.
  • Serious sunstroke, sunburn or even skin cancer can be caused by the sun on unprotected skin.
  • The most important drink for you at the Festival is water ! Make sure you drink enough liquid - it's essential for your health. Long waking hours, dancing and summer sun can increase your need.
  • Do not drink too much alcohol. You easily overestimate yourself. Take care of one another. Drugs + alcohol can be a lethal cocktail. Please take care.
  • Practice Safer Sex!!! If you have sex please use condoms for your own and the other’s safety and health!

MEDICAL CARE

If you need medical or first aid assistance please approach a festival steward or make your way to one of the ambulance tents at the entrance.

NOISE
If you love music and want to continue enjoying it for years to come, look after your ears. Be aware that in front of the PA stacks at nearly all of the music stages. Your ears can deal with it - for a short while. But if you are going to spend a long time at the stages remember to give your ears a break. Use Ear-Plugs to protect your ears.

LOCKER
You will find lockers nearby the entrance.
